Happy Coloured Marbles are an alternative duo, born from the same mutated musical womb. Inspired by the ethos of bands such as Ween & Queens Of The Stone Age, their music oscillates from danceable riffs and broken beats, to pop hooks and infinite atmospherics. Debut singles 'Cant Seem To Shake You' and 'The Ineluctable' float into one another with jolting rhythms and western overtones. Hadley Rutherford (Vocals/Bass) & Kalman France (Vocals/Guitar), are usually accompanied by a full band, or their bratty 80s drum machine employed to spit out broken beats. Their songs enjoy games of lyrical and instrumental ping pong between them, and are driven by a seemingly insatiable lust for manipulating and abusing genres entirely. Happy Coloured Marbles currently find themselves on a path to infiltrate the palace of rock, kill the king, and dance with the queen.
