Harald Blüchel began his classical piano training at the age of 7, received a scholarship at the conservatory in Nuremberg two years later and studied composition at the (West) Berlin University of the Arts.
In the 1990s he became a world star of electronic music under his moniker "Cosmic Baby“.
After the turn of the millennium he turned back to modern, contemporary classical music and worked as a composer at the major German-speaking theaters and playhouses. This experimental creative phase, in which he developed new composition and production techniques, is documented in the albums of the „Zauberberg-Trilogy“ („Die Toteninsel“, „Caged“, „Electric Chamber Music“), which were created between 2001 and 2007.
For several years he has concentrated on his favorite instrument, the piano.
With the upcoming album „No Ordinary Moments“, the art book "NOM" and an extensive concert series, he would like to introduce this creative period to a larger audience.
