Harbinger

Created during the birth of a supernova in 2020, Harbinger is holoporte on Earth to propose an instrumental cosmic electro, at the crossroads of synthwave and electronica.

Like Hal Jordan, behind this interstellar traveler is Geoffroy, former drummer of the band Metro Verlaine, who discovers a passion for synthesizers and electronic music. After leaving the band at the time of their second album, he embarked on a solo epic sound-like space odyssey.

During the confinement, isolated in his studio, Geoffroy imagines a live entirely built around analog synths and sequencers. The machines come together like a puzzle, giving life to pieces calibrated for the stage and announcing the beginning of concerts.
Harbinger is inspired by pioneers such as Jean-Michel Jarre, the experiments of Aphex Twin and the sounds of Daft Punk, offering retro-futuristic music where melancholy melodies mingle with catchy rhythms.

In 2024, this man-machine symbiosis gives birth to a first EP, «Runner Spheres», a real auditory journey into space. Each track explores a stage of this interstellar crossing.
Harbinger broadcasts on terrestrial waves a live session captured at the Radôme, a former satellite transmission center, reinforcing immersion in his cosmic sound universe.

Harbinger is now preparing to enter stasis to work on a second EP and design an immersive audiovisual live with V-Jing. This next step promises new explorations where sounds and visuals will intertwine to offer a total immersion.
