Harvest Haze is a project from the musician, producer, and singer-songwriter Pietro Vitório Demarchi, based in São Paulo, Brazil.
The project was born in 2015, when Pietro started writing and recording songs DIY style, using minimalistic tools, as he started digging deeper into Lo-Fi style music, including Blues, Country, Folk, Hip Hop, Indie and Singer Songwriter artists.
The appeal for nostalgia can be hypnotizing as the feeling unleashes memories from past times, and music is a powerfull tool when it comes to feeling.
Harvest Haze is a harvest from many sound references, partnerships, living experiences gathered throughout the years. The songs are raw, they are what they are, and there's such beauty in the intimacy of a song performed and exposed the way it was born.
Soundscapes may vary, but the appeal to minimalism, deep lyrics, esoterism, some cool guitar riffs, alternate guitar tunings, cassete recordings, and laid back vocals, eventually come to show a little in each tune.
This is an independent project, no attachments to any outcome, but always deeply grateful for every listener that feels some kind of good when listens to any of these songs.
