Breaking through Bristol's ever-experimental music scene with his first releases in 2017, Causon has built a reputation as an artist with a truly singular voice and songwriting ability. The singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist's music has been championed by BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, NME, Crack, DIY, Clash, Pitchfork Festival, Wonderland, Metal and Notion.
Harvey's debut album Square Breath was released In November 2024. Born out of a desire to tell a larger story, the collection of songs were crafted over a number of years, with many collaborators in various locations. Across the 13 tracks, this graceful, atmospheric record brims with shifting ambient textures, underscored by skittering grooves. These earthy, glistening foundations lay under Harvey’s stream-of-consciousness lyrics, which explore both the macro and microcosms of modern day life. An album that is both deeply personal in its content, but created in an ultra-collaborative way, it is a breathtakingly complex yet immediate album that cements his position as one of British music’s brightest sparks.
Harvey has toured globally and collaborated with the likes of Sampha, Loyle Carner, Hot Chip, Maribou State and many more. This year he has scored the music for an interactive VR dance installation which is exhibiting at Venice Biennale, Osaka film Festival, The Lincoln Centre in New York and launching in Paris this Autumn.
