HASHASHIN was created in April of 2024 in Austin Texas. The goal of the band is to combine aspects of metal and punk to provide a base of fast paced hard hitting music and to bring awareness to the origins of Freemasonry and the structure followed by both York and Scottish rites of Freemasonry. The earliest records of the Hashashin come from Marco Polo and the word Assassin is a romanized version of the Arabic word حشاشين Hashasheen. As they were seen as reapers of peoples soul. The Templars during the crusades are said to of taken many of the ideas of structure and spiritualism from them during their stay in the Middle East. Evident in the literature published by the Masonic Lodge written by masonic authors such as Manly P Hall, Albert G Mackey and R Swinburne Clymer.
