Hashim

Hashim, (b.k.a “Hashim ThaDream”), is a Soca/Fusion recording artist from the British Virgin Islands who has been writing and performing since the age of 14, achieving top ratings and winning several awards for his productions around the Caribbean. He is the pioneer of the signature sound, “Soca With A Twist” (a.k.a “S.W.A.T.”), a fusion of Soca with Pop, Dancehall and Afro, which was birthed in 2012 from his First OFFICIAL full-length project,“S.W.A.T- The Mixtape”.
He has performed with multi-platinum recording artist Iyaz and Grammy Award Winning Songwriters, R. City, collaborated with Major Lazor Affiliates, Bad Royale, and has also opened shows for several top Soca artistes including Machel Montano, Destra Garcia, Kes The Band, Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons. He is also a 2-Time International Soca Monarch Seimi-Finalist and has accumulated over 300,000 views on YouTube through his songs and music videos.
