Hashtag Band is a contemporary Cambodian music group based in Phnom Penh, known for blending traditional Khmer sounds with modern musical genres. Their music demonstrates the influence of various genres, especially Ballad, Jazz Funk Fusion, R&B and more.
The band was founded in October 2018 by Ros Pichcrovel (Crovel) and Rous Pichvimeanratana (Pao) and scores the 1st winner at 2019 Battle of The Bands, The iconic search for Cambodia’s hottest band in Cambodia. Two of their popular songs are "លាក់លៀម" (Leak Leam) and "ផ្កាយព្រះព្រឹក" (Pkay Preah Prek), which has received significant attention online, showcasing their ability to mix modern pop elements with traditional Khmer culture.
Hashtag band is now an independent band and continue to push boundaries of creativity, band and music in the Cambodian entertainment scene.
