Marisol Beckford, from Kingston, Jamaica, and Luisa Campbell, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, grew up immersed in their rich musical heritages. Marisol was surrounded by reggae, ska, and dancehall, learning guitar early from her musician parents. Luisa, drawn to samba, bossa nova, and reggaeton, mastered drums and percussion, influenced by her Brazilian percussionist father and Caribbean jazz singer mother. Both became multi-instrumentalists, mixing analog and electronic music elements.

Their paths first crossed at a small music festival in Havana, Cuba, where their impromptu jam session sparked an immediate connection. Over the years, they continued to meet at various festivals, each encounter deepening their bond and inspiring their musical collaboration. In Santiago de Cuba, inspired by the local fusion of sounds, they decided to join forces, blending reggae, samba, and reggaeton into a unique musical fusion.

Marisol and Luisa embarked on a journey from Jamaica to Brazil, from Havana to Kingston. Their music, a blend of reggae, Cuban son, and Brazilian reggaeton, captivated audiences worldwide. Their debut album, "Havana Kingston Sound," celebrated their diverse backgrounds and the cities that influenced their journey. Today, they continue to push musical boundaries, bringing people together with their vibrant, cross-cultural sound.
