Havenwood is a songwriter and musician inspired by 1960s bossa nova, Leonard Cohen, progressive rock of the 1970s, and new wave music. He is a multi instrumentalist seeking to tell interesting stories through words and music. Educated at Stuyvesant High School in NYC and SUNY Binghamton, NY. He is a member of multiple cover bands when not writing his own songs. He resides in Long Island, NY. Havenwood engages talented friends and musical assassins for hire to play on tracks where their own creative talents can help his own playing and advance his songs. He writes the majority of all tracks at his home studio in Long Island using Studio One DAW and believes in the use of AI for purposes of mixing and mastering -- but not for lyrics or musical composition.
