Having Kittens was formed in the summer of 2016 with the intent of making heavy music while having fun. Those intentions still drives the band to this day. What started as a fun hobby became a passion project for all involved. Everyone of us has unique tastes in music, which is represented in our sound. We take from punk, heavy metal, hardcore, thrash metal, doom metal and grindcore... and call it Purrviolence
