Hawk and the wild

Hawk and the Wild is a swedish singer/songwriter with a characteristic voice singing melodies of dark but hopeful lyrics. Over the years, hes gained many followers and listeners enjoying both studio productions and live performances. Flowers was the first in a series of new exciting songs recorded in his new studio in Västerås.

These songs feature two other musicians from Västerås who added their parts to the production. Mats B Olsson on keys (Skaboogie, Papa Dee, Kärleksbyrån) and Adam Janzi with drums and percussion (Dotter, Vola). In addition his two sisters Marielle and Jeanine did a vocal session with fantastic performances to give the new songs their final touch.

Jimmy writes all music and lyrics while he also plays most live gigs alone as a one man band. But he is sometimes accompanied by fellow musicians. While not playing music or scribbling on a new song he is riding some kind of board, speaking for human rights or environmental protection. A commitment often noticed in the lyrics like in the antiracist social media charity song “The dream is still alive” and in Ocean Watch that was also released as musicvideo on youtube.
