Hayman Hartman is a San Francisco band that plays gentle folk, infused with touches of jazz, funk, and world music. Like latter-day Paul Simon, but with less flash and driving energy, the duo combines many styles to produce heartfelt, sincere, and emotional songs. Hayman Hartman was formed in 2000 by Maryland natives Keith Hayman and Jon Hartman, the primary singer/songwriters in Mostly Water. With a collection of over 50 original songs from Hayman's world travels and Hartman's rock opera Spritle and His Wagon, the band went on the road, playing shows in San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Colorado, Maryland, and New York. In 2002, the band released its debut, Day In Day Out, on Wet Records. ~ Charles Spano, Rovi
