Eora/Sydney-based producer and instrumentalist heartholder steps into a new musical lane while paying homage to boundary-pushing nu jazz and electronic music in Australia and globally. Inspired by artists as diverse as Yussef Dayes, Vegyn, Overmono, Nala Sinephro, RJD2, Skin On Skin, and corto.alto, heartholder creates an eclectic fusion of modern jazz and club sounds marked by distorted saxophone and chopped acoustic breaks mixed with vocals inspired by UK grime and drill.
