Blending “indie rock prowess with meaningful storytelling”, Hearts With Company formed in West London in 2019 after being inspired to combine the vigorous energy of 00s rock with the swirling melodies of 20th century pop.
Described as “having fierce guitar-powered stylings while retaining an alluring and accessible flair”, the band’s debut single ‘Days Long Gone’ is a perfect example of that. It explores the darker side of fame and highlights the importance of staying true to oneself. Collaborating with acclaimed producer Jordan Timms (Dua Lipa, You Me At Six, Dermot Kennedy), the group recorded the single at Numan Studios, after it became a fan-favourite during their live shows.
So far, the band has enjoyed a string of successful gigs at many popular London venues, from headline shows at the Brixton Jamm and Camden Assembly, to the O2 Islington, Shoreditch Star, and Camden’s iconic Good Mixer. Outside of the capital, the band made two festival appearances in 2022, headlining Chiddfest Music Festival and later performing at Thame Town Music Festival. The group also supported Sarah Johnsone and The Avelons at Newcastle’s Head of Steam, and was interviewed on Riverside Radio.
More recently, the band has been collaborating with acclaimed producer Tom Hough (Keane, U2, Bloc Party) while recording new music at London's renowned Ten87 Studios. Their latest single ‘Jump Up And Get It’, has been described as a “soaring fusion of 70s glam and contemporary rock”.
