About Heather:
Heather grew up in the mountains of Western NC listening to her grandfather and aunts & uncles play bluegrass music and sing by shaped notes in the church choir. Music was (and is) her safe place when home and humans weren't.
Heather picked up the guitar at age 11 and wrote her first song at age 12. What followed was years of singing and writing out her feelings behind closed doors where no one and nothing could take them away. Now, at age 44, Heather is finally ready to let the world in to her private haven.
