Heather Jones is an American singer/songwriter based out of the Midwest. Her original sound is intentionally constructed using a wide array of musical influences, which often include Celtic, folk, and soft rock. Heather endeavors to create an authentically unique experience with each song, while maintaining a unified theme throughout each album.
In August 2017, after an intense period of prayer, it became clear that God was asking Heather to quit her day job as a makeup artist to pursue her original music full-time. Heather’s relationship with God has always been intertwined with her relationship to music – in her life, she has never been able to have one without the other. Her deep faith led her to leave her stable position behind to jump into working full-time on her debut EP, Traveler.
Heather is a private person who values close, intimate relationships, so the idea of sharing her vulnerabilities with the world can be daunting. But in addition to valuing privacy, Heather also values radical authenticity. So, she strives to ensure that everyone who encounters her music can find something honest and true, as well as artistic and beautiful. She writes not to pander to audiences, but to provoke them with something real, meaningful, and raw.
