Hecto

A Hecto surgiu entre o Rio de Janeiro e Santa Catarina. Durante o começo da pandemia, em abril de 2020 o encontro dos integrantes se deu pelas redes sociais, assim como as primeiras composições, que já mostravam que a química entre eles era forte e promissora.
É formada pelo cantor e multinstrumentista Guilherme Gê e o guitarrista Marcelo Lader, com a colaboração de Ismar Kohls (guitarra) e João Viana (bateria) na primeira fase de gravação.

Hecto embraces influences from 90s grounge (Stone Temple Pilots, Sound Garden, Nirvana) at the same time as dialoguing with 70s rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones). With expressive vocals, great guitar riffs and a very defined "signature", all added to a discreet Brazilian spice, the band is born with deep lyrics, symbolic and mystical messages and the truth that only one genre can carry forward with propriety: Rock! The group values dynamics and expression above all else, where the interpretation, arrangement and execution work like a movie script, telling a story, involving and leading the listener to an epiphanic ending.
