Hedonistik Ritual

Jon's passion for harder dance music started with a love of European Hard Trance and Hardstyle in the early 00s, with Lab4 and Mark EG's energetic styles making a huge impression on him and his early DJing. In 2003 he started to fall in love with UK Hardcore and Freeform where he developed his skills as an up and coming DJ, MC and producer called Mysterave, performing at events across the South of England.

His passion for freeform was boosted by meeting Carbon Based and DJ RX in his home town, which was quickly followed by a trip to Finland to see them perform at a FINRG event in 2007.

Jon then formed the freeform group 'Custom Built DJs' and they experienced success with releases on Electronica Exposed, Smiling Corpse and Freeformatted.

On his return from travelling in 2015 Jon created a new alias 'Hedonistik Ritual' to announce a new solo venture into the world of freeform hardcore. Securing releases on FINRG, Futureproof Sounds and Skeny Tracks, and collaborations with freeform hero Transcend, the name Hedonistik Ritual is one to watch and listen to!
