For more than eleven years, the husband and wife duo Hedrick have been making music and living life together. It’s that combination of life and art that gives Hedrick’s music an urgency, grounded in real experiences. Both grew up in small southern towns they once longed to leave behind, only to find a new respect for those roots even as they never quite fit the “small-town country” mold. The duo’s brand of guitar-driven, roots rock searches for meaning in the mundane, exploring the surprising bits of beauty and heartbreak in everyday experiences.
