Heikki Rasilo is a singer-songwriter, born in a small town in Finland. After playing in Finnish bands since a young age, he started writing original material while living in Spain and later in Belgium. Now his pictorial songs tell stories about unique people involved often in conflicting life situations – an old circus artist struggling for his dignity (as in Circus Song) or a man on a snowy war field tormented with guilt (Song for a Brother). His music is driven by captivating vocal melodies, smooth but unpredictable chord progressions, and a variety of guitar styles.
