Heimo

Heimo is a Oslo based, six man group, founded by Baard Heimo Jakobsen in 2012. The band consists of:
Baard Heimo Jakobsen - Lead Vocal, Acoustic Guitar
Marius Zon Berger - Electrick Bass
Aleksander Hansen - Guitars
Kristian Ofte Arntsen - Keys
Mikkel Nyrup Hjelmeland - Saxophone, Background Vocals
Mikael Midtgaard Jensen - Drums, Percussion
The band only plays original songs, and most of it is in the poprock genre. Fom 2012 - october 2020 the band was known as Lowestoft, and released music and played live under this name.
In 2021 the band changed name to Heimo, wich is the middle name of founder and lead vocalist Baard Heimo Jakobsen. After playing together live and for the most part only recording and releasing singles the band desided to record a full length album. The bands full length debut album, "Shadows", was released January 21. 2022. The album was produced and recorded by Christer Krogh (Velvet Recording, No), and Heimo. The title track, "Shadows", was produced and recorded by Thomas Wang (Urban Sound Studios, No), Christer Krogh (Velvet Recording, No), and Heimo. The album was mastered by Dave Collins Mastering (U.S).
