Hei$t began his artistic journey attending the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival every year since before his first birthday. Inspired by watching his dad play the drums, he started writing songs at the age of 12 and taking vocal lessons at 13.
Hei$t embodies melodic rap and alternative pop music, taking influence from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:0fA0VVWsXO9YnASrzqfmYu" data-name="Kid Cudi">Kid Cudi</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3qnGvpP8Yth1AqSBMqON5x" data-name="Leon Bridges">Leon Bridges</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:4LLpKhyESsyAXpc4laK94U" data-name="Mac Miller">Mac Miller</a>. After moving to Philadelphia at 18 to attend the University of Pennsylvania, he dropped fan favorites “Romeo” and "Sweet Susie”. Romeo caught the attention of Spotify and landed on Varsity Bars, a Spotify Editorial playlist.
During what seemed like a year-long hiatus, Hei$t was crafting his debut album, titled “Ain’t Right, Ain’t Wrong”. This project includes the heart-warming yet thrilling collaboration “Cold Cities” featuring Soss and Jack House.
Next came a roll of singles "anotherlife", "waiting for a piece of your heart", "RIGHT BACK", and "Hey Love" with <a href="spotify:artist:2R2Yg2qPloNOTOfqxfXX7l" data-name="benny mayne">benny mayne</a>.
Hei$t is currently an independent artist based in New York.
