Based in Ventura, California. Originally from Mexico City, Hekar Rivera, multi-genre composer, multi instrumentalist, who is constantly looking for new ways to bring the most powerful elements of each genre together to find new ways of expression. Constantly experimenting with genres for the perfect combination of styles and instrumentations that best fits each musical idea.
Has a passion for both the all-time classics and the instruments of the "old world" and the musical language and instruments of this century in "the new world".

With the philosophy that whether we communicate through old papyrus or fiber optics, good writing is timeless no matter the media. Acknowledging how technological advances have revolutionized culture, and therefore music throughout the centuries.
The stylistic choices range among epic symphonic orchestra, lush string ensembles, intimate piano violin and cello, or any combination of passionate strings, searing metal guitars and dashing drums.

Admiring and learning from the old masters while embracing the time we live in today, moving the music forward with artistic sincerity.
