Welcome to the world I've inhabited as a chamelic composer, producer and caricature!
Weaving a variety of sonic tapestries which aim to convey a mood or message. Variously ambient and atmospheric, brimming with harmonies, I am thrilled with the reaction. Thank you to everyone who has 'added to playlist' or got in touch!
Third album 'Afterlife' is in the wings, from which I've released a few tracks - Before, I Am Here For You and Gloria.
This follows my 2022 release of The Awakening, a calming meditative album intended to soothe the soul, building on some of the popular sonic concepts from my debut album Nature's Grace. As the name suggests, inspired by birdsong and incorporated many of nature's found sounds. '(Teaching Darkness ) How to Fly' proved to be a very popular collab with Ian McMillan and along with 'Song Thrush Serenade' enjoyed national spins from Radio 3 and 6 Music thanks to Elizabeth Alker and Cerys Matthews. A smattering of singles and EPs included the lively 'Jackie Weaver's Kicked Him Out' in 2021. Jackie and I were interviewed live on BBC News, Look East, Channel 5 news, Jeremy Vine on 5 and in The Guardian, Clash Magazine, Line of Best Fit. Enormous fun!
Having spent the previous decade promoting independent singer songwriters it's a huge thrill and a great honour to be finding my tribe, one follower at a time, for my own music.
