Helen Hendersons soulful voice and haunting songs lure you to the rocks, tempt you with the promise of dry land and leave you wanting more.
The Los Angeles Times called her the “Kiwi Siren”. Hailing from Southland New Zealand, Helen began her career in London, but now lives between Los Angeles and Muscle Shoals Alabama. Her debut album “Sonora Sessions was recorded in Los Angeles and received rave reviews. It included the single “The Ballad of Minnie Dean”. Sophomore album “Twisting Wind” was recorded at FAME Studios Muscle Shoals Alabama, fondly referred to as the “Cradle of Rock and Roll”. Powerful and raw, folksy, bluesy, country ROCK this album features some of the worlds finest musicians. Henderson released “LONDON” in 2016, a collection of songs she wrote starting out in London while signed to Ensign Records. Home to The Boomtown Rats, The Waterboys, Sinead Oconnor. Helen is working on her fourth album “ Muriels Dream” due to be released in2019.
