This San Francisco singer-songwriting duo came on the scene in 2017 with the dreamy, alt-rock hit, "Spirals" and the haunting, bluesy, "Asleep at the Wheel." Edgy guitars, laced with dreamy, driving bass-lines and just the right amount of synth, deliver indie rock with an edge that lingers.
The duo, dubbed Juan & Yoko started writing together in 2015 with Juan on guitars, keyboards, drums and vocals, and Yoko on keyboards and vocals. Before Helicopter Parent, Juan (Jordan Griggs), has played with Bay Area bands @TheCushionTheory and @SisterGrizzly since 2000.
HeliP’s sound is hard to pin down, ranging from 90’s inspired indie rock to alt-nursery rhymes (Three) to alt-country, to the Latin inspired, @StartOver
