Hellweed is a composer based in the United States with musical influences ranging from classical to industrial, rock to new age, and ambient to epic. He first started playing, writing, and recording music in the mid 80s on guitar. Years later, he began studying Music Composition and Sound Synthesis at the University of Tennessee. In early 2009, he started releasing music on Soundcloud and later moved on to all other platforms including Spotify, YouTube, and iTunes.
