Henkinen (Brutal MX) was created by Guillermo Huerta on August 7, 2020, as a means of individual expression, seeking an industrial sound in the city of Puebla, Mexico, with the intention of artistically channeling all the ideas, voices, and sounds in his mind. The debut single release was “Demo” featuring the songs “Inanición” and “Luna.” “Luna” is the first single from the debut album “El inicio,” which includes two remixes by Estructura Híbrida and Adolfus Rex. “El inicio” is the debut album consisting of 11 tracks, scheduled for release on November 1, 2020.
In June 2024, the project’s name was changed to “Henkinen” to better reflect the personality and evolution of the project, which led to the creation of the album “Inner Beast” (August 1, 2025). This album explores lyrics in English and solidifies the musical foundation while maintaining the original ideal of being “a personal expression project.” The first single from the “Inner Beast” album is titled “MACHINE MAN,” released on July 15, 2025.
On September 1, 2025, a re-version of the 2020 album “El inicio” will be released under the title “The Beginning (Deeper Darker),” featuring English lyrics and aiming for a more industrial sound, while preserving the classic instrumental tracks of the original album, including the bonus track “WAS?”, the First single of the album was “Visitors” includes the Cover “Well, Everybody is fucking in a U.F.O.” of Rob Zombie
