Thailand’s indie duo, Henri Dunant, is guitarist/singer Natthawut Jenmana and multi-instrumentalist Chatchon Srisomburananont. The pair are from Bangkok and had first met while they were college students studying economics in Thammasat University. For a brief period they were part of their faculty’s music production team for its annual stage play.
Henri Dunant formed in the middle of 2016 after Srisomburananont's return from his studies abroad. Jenmana started the project by calling Srisomburananont and his former band mates, currently in a band called “The Good Day Ghosts”, to do something fun together once again. They chose the quirky alias in reference to the Red Cross founder and that famous street in central Bangkok mainly because of its bilingual pronunciation.
After the release of their first song, “Nick of Time” featuring “The Good Day Ghosts”, Srisomburananont and Jenmana decided to further their music journey together as a duo and publicly announce their debut album "A Constellation Away".
