Herb Garden is a rock group formed in 1987 in their hometown of Bristol, UK. They found recognition in the late 1980s and early 1990s initially as an ‘absurdist thrash band’ because they liked their psychedelia as much as their fast rock, and later as a more controlled, ‘funky punk’ outfit, but always as a hard-working tour band. Since an initial split in 1996, Herb Garden have been less hard-working but have reformed twice for two reunion shows, last venturing onto the stage for a 30th anniversary gig in 2018. They are still playing and new releases are planned.
