Here Comes Fate are an Exeter-based band inspired primarily by the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:2S5hlvw4CMtMGswFtfdK15" data-name="Royal Blood">Royal Blood</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4pejUc4iciQfgdX6OKulQn" data-name="Queens of the Stone Age">Queens of the Stone Age</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1km0R7wy712AzLkA1WjKET" data-name="Biffy Clyro">Biffy Clyro</a>. Their music emphasises memorable riffs and tense build-ups, creating a powerfully built tone.
Their second single 'Melancholic Dreams' is dreamy, chill and emotive. The song has all the essence of a Here Comes Fate track but with a greater emphasis on atmosphere.
Originating with old friends Harry and Jake reuniting in University halls after not being in contact for 4 years was the genesis of Here Comes Fate. Jake's highly adaptable drum style along with Harry's singing and rhythm guitar combination proved there was potential. New avenues opened with the arrival of the lead guitarist, Toby. His technical playstyle allowed the band far greater melodic capacity and so the first few originals blossomed as we discovered our sound. As the band progressed they felt a need for a bass player to tie things together. Eventually, the band got into contact with Matt and was invited to an audition in which he absolutely excelled (he performed a live set just 2 days after auditioning!). Matt finalised the soundscape of the band allowing the band to push and progress their music to higher levels.
