Heresi is the one-man black metal project of multi-talented Swedish musician Skamfer, a diagnosed manic depressive who reportedly spent some time in mental institutions and was briefly a member of Ondskapt before going solo in 2004. With that in mind, it's not at all surprising to learn that Heresi's ultimate mission comprises "celebrating mankind's misfortune and the triumphs of evil in all its forms and all its glory," a mission that has thus far yielded two mini-albums entitled Psalm I (2005) and Psalm II: Infusco Ignis (2006). Revealing Skamfer's evil agenda through several styles of extreme but cleanly performed black metal, both of these were initially pressed in limited cassette and vinyl quantities, but the latter was eventually reissued on CD by Hydra Head Records. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
