Hesen Şerîf is a Kurdish singer from Kurdistan - Duhok, born in 1969. He began playing tembûr at the age of eleven and released his first works, Tembura Min (1985) and Baran Barî (1986), as a young artist. His patriotic songs made him a recognized voice among Kurds during the late 1980s and early 1990s, especially with the influential cassette Halepçe – Hiroshima Kurdistanê.
After moving to Sweden in 1995, he continued creating music and released popular albums such as Xwezî, Tora Evînê, and Mizgînî. Today, he remains a respected figure in Kurdish music, known for his dedication to culture and heartfelt vocals.
