Singer songwriter Hetty Clark creates emotionally driven music. Her latest release "Lucky Day," is an uplifting drum & bass track and is a collaboration with Brighton based songwriter Sam Orams and produced by Danny Braxton. The track is a homage to the euphoria you can experience on a dance floor amongst strangers, the irresistible feeling that for a minute, everything might just be alright.
Hetty is drawn to artists that blend soul with drum and bass, Solah, Rudimental, and Nixxy Rain. She is also a fan of downtempo bands like Everything But The Girl and Portishead.
Hetty’s Los Angeles projects included work with Ned Douglas (engineer for Dave Stewart), writing tracks under The Dot And The Line. London dance label Perfect Havoc released a remix from the duo: Norwegian DJ MODES' remix of the track "Hiding the Truth."
Hetty's collaboration with Xurbulentt, a British award winning songwriter and producer blending elements of pop, R&B and hip-hop, resulted in a BBC Introducing set at Boardmasters Festival in Newquay, Cornwall.
Hetty’s projects have drawn praise from outlets such as Atwood Magazine, Obscure Sound, Unheard Gems, Vehlinggo, antiMusic, and more.
