Acclaimed vocalist Hetty Kate brings her clear tone and sweet sound to the jazz tradition. Compared to "a good champagne: simultaneously effervescent and restrained" by the Sydney Morning Herald, Hetty's distinctive approach balances unwavering respect for lyrics with a natural ease, spontaneity and wit. Born in England, raised in Australia, and now Paris-based, her impressive international career spans performances across six continents and 28 countries, with ten album releases to her name.

A career highlight includes her five-year tenure as featured vocalist for James Morrison's award-winning symphonic concert "The A to Z of Jazz," performed with orchestras throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. "A stage presence only matched by the clarity of her voice," notes Morrison himself.

Festival appearances include the Sapporo International Jazz Festival (Japan), Ascona Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Prague Proms (Czech Republic), and Cavell Leitch International Jazz Festival (New Zealand). Will Friedwald's Clip Joint USA praises her as "truly one of the best swing-style vocalists on the current scene," while Richard Fields of 3CR Radio observes that "Hetty Kate's voice overflows with a natural musicality."

Hetty's current project "Jazz in Four Seasons" draws on her global experiences in an ambitious tetralogy exploring seasonal themes in different cities. As critic Eric Myers (Loudmouth) notes: "One rarely hears a repertoire of such quality."
