U.K. rapper HEX blurs the lines between hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, and rock. With moody, melancholic songs about heartbreak and nightlife, such as 2018's "Canadian Drip," he's been likened to a British Post Malone.

Born in Nottingham in 1997, HEX initially started making beats as a teenager before he began adding vocals to his music. Inspired by American rap and R&B as well as Afrobeats, he developed his own sound, marked by melodic, yearning vocals and lyrics drawn from his personal experiences and emotions. He started releasing music in 2017, and singles like "Limitless" and "Gene Kelly" began attracting online attention, particularly for their cinematic music videos. Further songs like "Stunna" and "Canadian Drip" appeared in 2018, followed by "Inferno," "Too Bad," and "Blow" in 2019. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
