Hey Djan is a French project revolving around Armenian music created and directed by the multi-instrumentalist Adrien Soleiman.
Thanks to his wife, he fell in love with Armenian music and culture. In March 2020, during the first lockdown, he gathered some of his greatest musician friends and two Armenian singers to create « Hey Djan ».
Hey Djan aims at restyling and refreshing Armenian classic and pop songs with the ambition of spreading Armenian music beyond the community, using the band members experience and inspirations.
Through their passion of Armenian music, Hey Djan invites music lovers to deep dive into the heart of the Armenian culture, from the Mediterranean to the edge of East.
The amazingly gigantic repertoire of Armenian songs offers the band a playground without boundaries and limitless in terms of creation where people would be invited to travel and dream of Hayastan.
A journey through space and time where ancient Armenian songs fuse with modern and natural soundtracks.
