Hicky & Kalo are a DJ and Producer duo born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Both classical musically trained and both having a diploma in electronic music at the University Of Montreal, they have gone on to craft a stellar reputation for their inimitable edge, commitment to the scene and penchant for deep melodic grooves. The young pair, resident at the famous Stereo Montreal club and founders of budding imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records, are now firmly placed among the vanguard in dictating the new sound of the worldwide underground melodic scene.
Also accomplished producers, the duo’s deep melodic sounds have found a home on Berlin's Watergate Records, Hernan Cattaneo’s label Sudbeat Music, Brazil's Warung Recordings, When We Dip’s XYZ, Cid Inc's Replug Records and their own Plaisirs Sonores imprint. Their music have been remixed by notorious artists like Rodriguez Jr, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Denis Horvat, Makebo, Karmon, and Soul Button.
On their label Plaisirs Sonores Records, the duo has signed renowned artist like Hernan Cattaneo, Rodriguez Jr, Nick Warren, Armen Miran, Denis Horvat, Soul Button, Cid Inc, Budakid, Sahar Z, Karmon, Makebo, Julian Wassermann, Petar Dundov, Dmitry Molosh, and more.
Most recently, they achieved their first TOP 1 Progressive House Track on Beatport with 'Voyage', their collaboration with Hernan Catttaneo and they signed 'Distant Memories' on the renowned Watergate Records.
