Hidden Currents are led by singer and songwriter Christopher Sprake, who has been touring and releasing music in Australia and Canada since the 1990s, both solo and in bands (Tofa, The Autumn Sails). Sprake enlisted Richard Jelbert’s Radiohead-esque guitar styling; Nyk Lee’s atmospheric keys; and Ruvith Abraham’s infectious, percussive grooves. They've garnered stylistic comparisons to R.E.M., The Church and The Smiths. In March 2018 they released their debut album, After Image, and toured the East coast of Australia.
