Born and raised as Luyolo Sihle Phamandla Beku in the notorious streets of Ngangelizwe and the village of Payne’s Farm in Mthatha, HiddenXhosa is secretly formed through his childhood love for poetry. The thought of being a singer never crossed his mind, but a full package of art is what he has always been.

HiddenXhosa now takes center stage with his debut EP titled “Ndim” meaning “It’s me”. The project defines the thought process of creative writing and inner emotions of HiddenX, as he is fondly known in his circle of creatives.

The sweet love melodies woven around his personal experiences are written from the soft corners of this creative’s heart, as he heavily admits to be a sucker for love, as is evident on the first song he wrote on the EP titled “Dali”.

HiddenXhosa also within this new chapter is found in collaboration with two of Eastern Cape’s national music sensations, Zintle Kwaaiman, a young lady from Mdantsane, on a song titled “Molo” (Hello) in honor of our mothers and also 2023’s MMA song of the year and multi award winner Betusile on a song titled “Ezantsi” laid on traditional gospel and afropop influences.

“Ndim” is an offering co-produced by HiddenX and Tando Nombila fondly known as Mbilano, as the head producer. Tshegofatso Teffo, otherwise known as Tshego AMG is found in the usual interpretation of soul on his strings as the guitar maestro with Bornwell “Bonibass” Masuku sitting on the low ends of the bassline that easily sits on the tap of your toes.
