Pop-punk rockers from Los Angeles, CA slangin' its melodic hits since 2007. Formed by Michael Alchuiliti (Guitar//Vocals and former drummer of Phantom .357) and Dee Money (Drums), setting out to craft its own brand of punk rock in the vain of Jawbreaker, Screeching Weasel, and The Descendents. HiFi's first EP, "HiFi Generation", dropped in 2008 and was recorded at West Beach Studios in LA. Still looking for a Bass player at the time, they recruited Rob from AMP Rehearsal in North Hollywood and HiFi Silence was complete. After a handful of shows, Rob and Dee left the band in 2009. Soon after, Michael met Alex Renner who would play bass and he recruited his friend Mike (Counterfeit Saints) to play drums. They recorded their second EP "Understand Me Please" in 2010. HiFi met their second demise in 2011 after Mike and Alex decided to leave the band for personal reasons. A reissue of "Understand Me Please" is said to be in the works, but no news of the band reforming as of now.
