High The Moon is the solo project of Amsterdam based multi instrumentalist Keez Groenteman. After multiple self-published releases the first official High The Moon record, Into Outside was released by Excelsior Recordings in 2011. At the same time Groenteman was busy as frontman of psychedelic synthpop band Lola Kite with which he released two full length records. Between 2011 and 2013 he was part of the Jacco Gardner live band during the worldwide 'Cabinet of Curiosities' tour. High The Moon returns to the home studio in 2017, releasing Doze in the summer of that year. Two years later in spring 2019 another record, Ripple, is released Groenteman is also known as composer and producer of music for many different theatre, television and film productions.
