Jeremy Lee Hinkle, aka Hink, is a Canton, Ohio native who has lived in Miami, Florida, since 2001. Hink debuted with Product of Struggle in 2014, blending conscious hip-hop with self-produced tracks and contributions from Greg Baughman (Party Over) and Felly (Judgment Day). The album also featured vocalists Amy Ioné and Annishka, with music videos shot in New York City and Rio de Janeiro, emphasizing its global perspective.
Hink’s second album, Strength, brought an international vibe and live instrumentation, featuring Miami’s top musicians, including Grammy winners Tim Mitchell (guitar) and Mike Couzi (mastering), Andy Russell (drums), Richard Bravo (percussion), and Bob Taylor (keyboards). Produced by Jose Val and Steve Argy, the project included standout vocals from Amy Ioné and Indian-Irish singer Sarah Packiam on the bonus track. In 2019, videos for Strength and No Valentine were released.
In 2020, Hink dropped Wisdom, an instrumental EP produced by Ohio’s Conz. While Wisdom is still evolving, Hink is preparing for a major comeback in 2025. Highlights include the release of Tree Song from his upcoming Sophisticated Bastard album and the development of Product of Struggle 2. With a renewed focus, 2025 promises to be a milestone year for Hink’s music career.
