Hip Hop Hoodíos are a Latino-Jewish alternative hip-hop band founded by Josh Norek and Abraham Velez. The group has collaborated with members of Grammy winning acts including <a href="spotify:artist:1RgXxY6uzWo9cjYYwwgVGq" data-name="Jaguares">Jaguares</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1GImnM7WYVp95431ypofy9" data-name="Caifanes">Caifanes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1An0HCtDktvCBDdFEu7HC0" data-name="Ozomatli">Ozomatli</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0tgCD1jE7zLillCOoG4h8d" data-name="The Klezmatics">The Klezmatics</a>.
The 2002 debut EP 'Raza Hoodía' featured the hit "Ocho Kandelikas" which received heavy airplay on MTV Latino. The 2005 album 'Agua Pa' La Gente' featured guests Frank London (The Klezmatics) and Paul Shapiro (Brooklyn Funk Essentials). 2007's 'Viva La Guantanamera' EP hit #9 on iTunes and #1 on eMusic, followed by the Best Of album 'Carne Masada.'
