HLNR is a rapper/producer who has been making music since 2011.
Performance wise HLNR has performed all over Ingólfstorg including Sæta Svínið, Paloma & Gaukurinn and many other Karaoke places, as well as other countries such as Spain, The United Kingdom, Belgium & Denmark.
HLNR, the other half of Smurostur, or better known by his parents as Hlynur Örn Þrastarson has always been into music. He first realised his potential when he finally beat his sister’s high score in Singstar at the young age of 19.
Suddenly he felt confident enough to keep writing thanks to his background of having the highest Singstar score in the family for 2 whole days AND knowing all the lyrics to the High School Musical 2 classic song “Gotta Go My Own Way.”
