Hltp is breezy and balanced. These five neighborhood friends have been developing their harmony-forward dream-folk sound in basements and on couches across Chicagoland. Their love for each other is palpable on stage, as they switch instruments, loop, laugh, groove to dancy beats, and create something bigger than the sum of its parts.
Paul Azzarello (bass) and Mike McGrath (drums) are the backbone of each tune. Laura Fassari (songwriter/vocals/keys/guitar) and Ashley Kushner (songwriter/vocals/ ukulele/guitar/keys) bring powerful harmonies to their creations. Seth Raman (lead guitar/keys) weaves skillful instrumentation throughout, crafting the songs into their truest forms.
