HookEm Music Group was founded in late 2017 by artist, producer & engineer Polo, as an answer to the needs of himself & his circle of creatives breaking into the music industry. His natural leadership ability was revealed early in his life, as he was forced to adjust to the ever changing environments that came with his father's career in the Navy. Traversing multiple southeastern states after being born in Jacksonville, FL, he learned to fluidly move through his local communities which would eventually include places as far as London, Italy, Japan & Cuba.

Despite the location changes one thing that stayed consistent was his love of music & the arts. Though his voice is his favorite instrument to use, Polo is an experienced producer & audio engineer with a talent for live instrumentation to include drums, piano & alto saxophone. His diverse ear for sound has made him a valuable executive producer for his team and countless peers in Tennessee music.

As Polo begins 2020 a new focus on business development & leadership being directed by Ambitious Moguls business coaching, is propelling him into the same realm that pushed rapper/business moguls like Jay-Z & Master P into legendary eras of hip hop. With a solid background in the arts and a growing business portfolio, the industry can expect to see continued evolution and brand saturation for Polo & HookEm Music Group.
