Rebuilding the landscape of hip hop fusion, rapper and artist Hoagie Reignz battles the headlines to blend catchy hooks, addictive grooves and outright unmistakable identity, across a fearless collection of originals amassing tens of thousands of streams.

Hoag won hip hop’s renowned Battle of The Band’s contest King of The Lake, hosted by <a href="spotify:artist:46yoMIbiLf1tIH3CRZiSGX" data-name="DJ Afterthought">DJ Afterthought</a>. In 2017, the aspiring creative took on 200 contenders to win the top spot as opening act for the one and only <a href="spotify:artist:55Aa2cqylxrFIXC767Z865" data-name="Lil Wayne">Lil Wayne</a>. This performance proved a gateway to other high-profile stage shows, not least of all supporting <a href="spotify:artist:3hcs9uc56yIGFCSy9leWe7" data-name="Lil Durk">Lil Durk</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3p3jPcp8b7WL9XYj4xlsWj" data-name="Snow Tha Product">Snow Tha Product</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:137W8MRPWKqSmrBGDBFSop" data-name="Wiz Khalifa">Wiz Khalifa</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:74dMZMvy8P27oPqnprnvBb" data-name="Montana of 300">Montana of 300</a> for their national tours.

However, while his rise has been exponential, the journey has not been without difficulty; Even with legal battles though, Hoag managed to obtain a court-ordered furlough in order to perform at the King of The Burgh competition, and despite the struggles to get there, he once again took home the top spot; a crown he would ultimately return to his cell with.

Having made headlines in 2021, after snatching another rapper’s chain following a show in Youngstown, Ohio, Hoag began compiling his next musical masterpiece whilst simultaneously fighting the charges held against him.
