Manchester-based artist Holly Mulvey brings a multi genre blend of downtempo, neo-funk, soul and hints of lofi to scene with her first single. Through honesty and compassion her lyrics speak to a movement of mind and body positivity and using music to spread a message of love and encouragement whilst being open about her own experiences with loss and mental health.
Her music is a serendipitous combination of the electronic, dub and funk of Fat Freddy’s drop, the indie pop grooves of Kimbra, Jain and Glass Animals, the downtempo, nu funk of Groove Armada and the smooth vocals and harmonies of Yebba. A blend of styles that will grow and develop with her future releases.
